The outline was courtesy of sign-poster Jeff AC4ZO.  It was inspired by a newspaper picture some years ago captioned "not my job" that showed the center stripe of a new highway painted over another unfortunate beast.  MS-150 front-men began outlining road-kill recently.

This possum inspired comments like "don't eat anything with yellow paint on it" at the buffet.  Possum Trot net members are reminded to remove their hats.

Hugh N4WHT has the unenviable honor of following the dead possum on the web page.  Sorry, Hugh.  Hugh was the ham at Rest Stop 6, in Columbia.  He's part of the Roanoke ARS.

By this time, Jeb was having Dick marshall SAGS at the Alligator River, and we announced the recommendation that all bikes be SAGged across the bridge.  The first bikes were approaching the bridge at that time.

Bruce KC4UQN, a Raleigh ARS SAG volunteer, calls in from a rest stop (and models the volunteer T-Shirt).
