RARS placed first in class 7A for the 2009 ARRL Field Day. This is a terrific achievement and I want to express my sincere thanks to everyone who visited, operated or helped with the logistics. This year's effort was remarkable on several points. We had the most participants, 56, and total contacts, 3637, since 2001 and the last time RARS placed first for any class was in 2000. Since 1997, RARS has entered class 7A 8 times. This year marks the highest number of contacts in 7A ever for RARS. A set of graphs charting individual station activity can be seen at: Mike - WA4BPJ |
