"Tune In The World" Night
The final night of class is all hand-on demonstrations,
provided by a bunch of RARS members.  The students
above are clustered around two of the demos.  And
the RARS Education Director, Lynn KO4QH,
appears in the lower left of the picture.

The traditional HF demo - Mike WA4BPJ
works stations around the country...

...and around the world, as
Neal N4HAF wows the
crowd with some high-
speed CW.

Max KO4TV and Ruth KE4DRI
show off homebrew antennas.

Max's miniature antenna farm
shows what you can do at home.

Mark WD4KSE put the class
on TV - Amateur TV using the
UHF ATV repeater.
Nick KD4CPL provided a video commentary
from his shack.  The ATV signal wasn't
"P-5", but this photo makes it look
worse than it was.

Matt W2BYV and Fred N4IXL demonstrated
APRS Packet, in the left picture, and
some DF equipment above.

Dick KD4ISC called the RARS
8:00 net from the class,
giving everyone a first-hand
look at net operation.

No class would be complete without  a strong dose of history.
Joey KE4DRJ has gotten into boatanchors, and spends most of
his operating time on radios twice as old as he is.

and now, on to the Exam!
